Rooted

Gatherings for Women

Step into the land and feel your roots again.

There’s a 200-year-old pulse beneath the grass at Lavender Hill—the oldest farm in this community, and now the home of Bramblewood Stables. Here, the land and the herd invite us to slow down, breathe deeply, and listen to what our bodies are saying.

Rooted is a women’s gathering where reflection and presence meet the rhythm of the natural world. Guided by Kim and the Bramblewood herd, each session offers two hours of grounding, connection, and rediscovery.

Come walk the pastures, sit by the pond, and let the world fall away for a while.

Tea, journals, and space to breathe will be waiting.

Discover the Bramblewood Difference:

Located minutes from downtown Greenville, South Carolina, Bramblewood Stables is a full service equestrian facility offering dressage, hunter/jumper, and western training for riders and horses of all ages and abilities. Bramblewood is also at the forefront of Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) providing adaptive rides and life coaching for human growth and transformation. Our innovative style of instruction leads riders through a safe and systematic training scale tailored to their individual goals and abilities.

Lessons.

Every rider—whether brand new or returning after years away—begins with a Respite Session. This first experience offers time to slow down, meet the herd, and understand how we work with horses as partners, not tools. From there, riders are thoughtfully matched with an instructor whose teaching aligns with their goals and growth.

The horse world is changing, and we’re proud to be part of that shift. For too long, the industry edited out the parts of horsemanship that made it whole—the listening, the awareness, the patience that builds true connection. Here, we bring those pieces back. Our program focuses on developing riders who understand not just how to ride, but why it matters. Because to become good riders, we first have to learn how to think like a horse.

Camps.

Our Kid’s Connection Camps are designed to help children slow down, tune in, and discover what real partnership feels like. Through hands-on groundwork with our gentle herd, campers learn how to listen to body language, build confidence, and communicate without words. These experiences reach far beyond the pasture—teaching patience, empathy, focus, and respect that carry into every part of life.

Whether your child dreams of horses or simply loves being outdoors, our camps offer a chance to reconnect with nature, make friends, and discover the quiet power of presence. Camps aren’t about riding. They’re about learning how to lead—with kindness, curiosity, and calm.

Coaching.

Rooted in the old oaks and open fields of Lavender Hill, Kim’s coaching practice offers a place to slow down, listen, and remember who you are. The work begins with presence—whether you’re meeting in the pasture or over Zoom—and grows from a shared curiosity about what it means to live with purpose and clarity. This is a space to rediscover your roots, for rebuilding trust in your own rhythm, and for returning to yourself with both courage and compassion.

Our Mission.

Bramblewood Stables is a community of open-minded and creative people who are changing the dialogue of what it means to approach a horse. Though this has long been considered the sport of kings, we believe that everyone has a right to experience the gifts of the horse in a community free of facades. We allow the horses to inspire us with their honesty by honoring where we are and respecting where we’ve been. At Bramblewood we create knowledgeable horse people who know what it is to collaborate with a horse rather than simply riding one.
